Buhay Port Yir: This girl is on fire!

November was but a stressing month. A month full of misunderstandings, of trashes, and of expenses. I experienced going home late and finding myself still wearing my uniform the next morning. Have not even brushed my teeth, have not even washed my... Sleep for us during those times was... WHAT IS SLEEP? Actually, I did not sleep on the day of the culminating activity itself. We had sleepovers at Diana's house, but are those considered sleepovers? 1-3 hour/s of sleep? I think those were napovers. I learned to love the comfort rooms at Diana's house because I fought sleepiness by taking baths at midnight. The windows in their comfort rooms gave me a view of the beautiful midnight sky, and made me feel the breeze of the midnight wind.

AND YES, WE WORE COSTUMES MADE OUT OF RECYCLED MATERIALSSS
Sir Raffy told us that our tableau was clean. The transitions were clean. So clean that our tableau lost its sense. Honestly, we did not have a concrete practice for our tableau. We were looking forward to the thirty-minute break between the presentation of the god and goddesses and the tableau presentation so that we could practice, but the teachers removed it because it was already late in the morning. They decided to finish everything before the lunch break. Yes, our only hope vanished. And so was our chance to win the tableau presentation. But but but Congratulations to Goldstein for being the champs! And and and we placed last. huhuhuhuhu

Sir Atu and Angelbert were our models. Sir Atu was Hestia and Angelbert was Dionysus.  The one in the middle is actually Sir Atu. Since Hestia is the goddess of hearth, we thought of something that would symbolize the fire, without compromising the feminine side. We came up with flowers made out of egg trays and crepe papers. Yellow, orange, and red crepe papers to emphasize the colors of fire. The silver part of the gown was made of plastic egg trays covered with glitters. The head dress was made of alambre as the frame, and newpapers and sequins and glitterz. We were so focused with Hestia that we forgot about our Dionysus. He wore the simplest outfit among the contestants. And he was not confident during the ramp. Unlike Hestia, who moved with all ease and grace. Truly, Hestia was on fire!

At the end of the day, Hestia got the Goddess of the Year Award and People's Choice Award! 1500 pesos, baby!

Ahehehehe. I love these four to depthz. Up to down: With Gil (Apollo), With Lois(Hera in our tableau), With Jaddie, and With Alex. I cannot remember who were the chracters that Jaddie and Alex portrayed. All that I can remember is that they were a couple in their tableau. I was Hydra in our tableau. Please do appreciate my effort not to wash my hair that morning just to achieve the "monster" feels.

The next day, many were absent because we were so tayerddd.
Thank you, Coper!
Credits to the owners of these photos! I cannot remember who you guys are but thanks a lot.
