Buhay Port Yir: Cry Freedom by Aurelio Aghfghjkj

"Pinili kayo. - Sir Raffy

Around 8:30 in the morning of November 15, 2013, we arrived at Ilaya Court in Santolan for the Cluster Level of Choral Interpretation Competition. The next thing we knew is that the second school was already performing, and we're next. Only the top two would advance to the division level.

If my memory serves me right, the program started around 10:30 am. What we did in two hours? Ma'am Allen and Miss Dona made us up. We prayed. And took pictures ahehehehehe.
we are 25 in our group but we're only 24 1/4 in this photo hahahahaha 3/4 joenny is behind yabut

We made it to the Division Level. Eusebio High School was on the third place while Manggahan High School garnered the top place in the Cluster Level Competition. I don't have a copy of our elims performance, but here's a print screen of my favorite part. The video's on our secret group, and I don't know how to download a video from Facebook.

very deserving for second place, right?

Losing in the Cluster Level motivated us more to win in the Division Level. We practiced after classes. Sir Raffy was not able to attend some of his classes, too. And... We became spies. We found out that a certain school made it to the finals when we saw their pictures during the elims. A classmate of Adriana during the elementary years posted a status that they'll work hard for the finals and everything. And that led us to the conclusion that they also made it to the finals.

Some cried. Someone even went home early because he was so affected. Others kept their cool. But after some time, we began to tell jokes again. Don't you just admire our resilency? I'm kidding hahahaha And we began to take pictures again.

If you're wondering why the title of this post is Cry Freedom by Aurelio Aghfghjkj, the author's last name has always been our problem before the Cluster Level Competition. In fact during our last practice before we headed to Ilaya Court, everything was fine until we mentioned the author's name. It's Aurelio Alvero.

Representing our school in the Choral Interpretation Competition was such a great experience. Would have been greater if we had won, but nevertheless this is one of the highlights of my senior year.

P.S. Find Me
