Buhay Port Yir: Aerodance

The competition which everyone has been looking forward to since June has finally come! AERODANCE! Everybody was really waiting for this moment, especially the graduating class which happens to be us. Gahd, I can't believe that I belong to the graduating class of Pasig City Science High School  now . Back to the topic, the Aerodance Competition was held last August 16, 2013.

As far as I can remember, the Aerodance had been postponed thrice. The said competition should have been conducted last July (Nutrition Month), but we had our NAT Mock Test, Periodical Test, and all kinds of test. hekhek Law of Diminishing Momentum states that when you postpone something, your eagerness to finish that thing lessens. We had practices where everybody seemed to forget to eat his/her breakfast. Our excitement for the Aerodance was nowhere to be found.

Good thing our teachers were considerate and supportive enough to let us practice during their time. "Ang pangit ng music nyo." "Ang ganda ng sa gentong section. Eh yung sa Coper, wala." During the times when we were hopeless, Sir Poks was there to remind us that we had sacrificed a lot for this. Time. Money. Energy. He commented on our routine; he said we had a great chance to place third. I miss Sir Poks as my adviser. Though he is still our teacher in Accounting, some things have really changed because he has an advisory class for this school year. Miss Wilma, our adviser, fixed our hair! She gave us some reminders like don't forget to smile. Before we went to the gymnasium, the venue for the contest, she said "Ang gaganda niyong lahat."

AU-CU! AU-CU! AU-CU! Remember the Likhang Awit? If you don't, GOLDstein and COPERnicus lost in that contest. While we were on our way up to the gymnasium, we were shouting AU-CU! AU-CU! AU-CU! If you don't know what the periodic table of elements is, you would never understand why we shouted such letters.

I believe that everyone dance his/her heart out! Everything this year is a last for the seniors! Go, Sixth Batch!
